Controversial, experimental composer, Karlheinz Stockhausen dies at 79. Stockhausen produced over 360 musical works in his life. His visionary use of electronics, serial techniques, and improvisation have created a large body of unique pieces. Stockhausen's music has been both praised and loathed, but should not be ignored. He has influenced diverse composers in Hip-Hop, Electronica, and academic circles alike.
